The Delivery Associate is responsible for safely transporting and delivering appliances to customers’ homes and businesses. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy equipment with care. Delivery Associates represent the company during every delivery, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Safely load, transport, and deliver appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
   
• Install appliances as needed (basic hookups and placements).
   
• Inspect items before delivery to ensure quality and accuracy.
   
• Use appropriate equipment (dollies, straps, padding) to move and protect appliances.
   

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
   
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
   
• Prior delivery or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
   

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances (75–250 lbs) with team assistance.
   
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
   
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions during loading and unloading.
   

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
   
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
   
• Ability to follow instructions, routes, schedules, and safety protocols.
   
• Basic mechanical or installation knowledge is helpful but can be trained.
